“My soul is a jaguar, the wounds of one are the wounds of other.”

NATIVE PROVERB

“Garra de Jaguar retakes the cosmogony and wisdom of the pre-Columbian cultures to meditate about the need to restore the essential balance between nature and human beings, fundamental for a better life in this planet.

The film revives one of the most extraordinary characters of the pre-Columbian history of México: Ocho Venado Garra de Jaguar. Political leader, warrior, sovereign and shaman.

It is a story of personal search, acknowledgement and acceptance of oneself. A story of internal love and for those who accompany us in this life. It is about the journey of the hero that we carry inside: no matter if we are big or small, we can all change our destiny.”
